How long does medical credentialing take?
Most payers take three to six months from a complete application to an effective date. With CureCloudMed the usual range is one to three months, counted from the day we have a complete file. The delay is rarely the payer. It is a missing document, an old CAQH attestation, or nobody following up. We keep the file complete and chase it weekly. See our medical credentialing services.
Do I have to change my EMR or practice management software?
No. Our billers already work in AdvancedMD, NextGen, Epic, PrognoCIS, ICANotes and many other systems, so we log in to yours. If you are opening a new practice and do not have a system yet, you can use our practice management system.
How much do medical billing services cost?
Billing is charged as a percentage of what we collect, so we only do well when you do. The rate depends on your specialty and claim volume. Credentialing is quoted per application, per payer. Contact us for a written quote before any work starts.
Do you work with solo doctors and small practices?
Yes, that is most of our work. A solo doctor gets the same coder, the same credentialing specialist and the same reporting as a large group.
